At this point, we have to tell you that we in Northwestern Switzerland are in a different world, or even a different galaxy, because our regional property market definitely ticks differently. Our own internal statistics and observations on the market over the last six months show the following picture:

• Buying is still much cheaper than renting.
• Prices for houses and condominiums are largely stable, and in some price segments there has even been a slight fall in prices (confirmed by statistics).
• In principle, 3% mortgage interest rates would be “normal”, but now we are often below 2% again.
• We have a lot of younger families buying properties.
• The average marketing time has increased noticeably over the past year.
